Utrect will be without van der Maarel, Nilsson, Schut, Mulenga, Demouge, de Kogel and Gerndt. You can say that more than half of their regulars are ruled out, including their best strikers & goal-scorer Mulenga. Coach Wouters said that this is a must-win situation and they can't afford not to win, and they must improve and play more agressive following last week loss to Heracles. First choice GK Fernandez will be replaced by Cummins because "he makes too many mistakes", according to Wouters. Excelsior might be the worst team in the Eredivisie but they will have a full squad available and some of their players used to play for Utrect before...I think they can put the home side in trouble and who knows maybe get some points. Nevertheless, the under comes as a must because Excelsior are quite impotent up-front when travelling while Utrect will be weakened too much in the attacking department. The coach said that there will be no changes despite the missings, and he will start with two strikers just like before - der Gun & Veldwijk - but it won't be the same for sure.

I can't see Bayern as favorites tonight. Villarreal, one of the best teams in Spain, will play at home and that's a big thing. "Spanish football is the best that Europe has to offer at the moment,'' said Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Bayern away at Zurich never impressed. They had a 2-0 lead and never needed the three points perhaps, but they should have done better. The Yellow Submarines have creative middle and a guy such as Rossi up-front + a stable defence at home. "We are going to have to fight for every ball and get the fans on our side,'' said Villarreal coach. Won't be an easy match for Bayern, who will be without Arjen Robben. On the other side, Borja Valero is suspended while Cristian Zapata returns after missing the week-end clash against Sevilla.

Hungary have arguably become a better team recently but -0.5 on the road against Moldova - that's off the mark and a must bet for us. Moldova have no chances to go through and will play for "nothing" as the saying goes. They've been thrashed last week by Finland on the road (score 4-1) and nothing seems to indicate in their favour. On the other hand, Moldova playing for nothing means nothing. I would say it can make them stronger. Playing at home in front of their fans is a good reason to throw the best out of you, and it doesn't really matter whether you play for something or not. It's a small (10k) but very loud place, and Hungary won't have an easy task. I remember a similar clash (Moldova playing for "nothing"), on the same stadium, an official match - it's ended 2-0 Moldova win. Against Hungary of course. On the top of that, the most recent meeting between the two sides (in Hungary, score 2-1) is still fresh in my memory. What happened was, they've been dominating that game and created many chances, but somehow lost 1-2. The tactical aspect is also to be considered. Hungarians don't have a good defence - lack organization. That will perfectly suit Moldova, because they play the best when they can do fast counters and remain tight at the back on the other hand.

This is a bet I rate very high from the value point of view. If we take a look at the results so far, we would see that both Colombia and Peru have been playing only unders so far, and in fact, both combined have scored and conceded seven times out of six matches, which is an extremely low average. Adding that this is a quarter-final match, the chances for under should be even better. Bookmakers were not far from these facts, setting up an extremely low total ahead of this match. In my opinion, I think the reality is a bit different. I've watched all these matches and all I can say is that both Colombia and Peru should and could have scored/conceded more goals. Grab the highlights of Chile's victory against Peru (score 1-0) and you will see with your own eyes how many chances were missed, and you will understand that was a very lucky under in fact. Both sides have got quality players up-front and even if the imprortance of the clash is huge (although this could be an advantage at some point), I just think such total is too low and it must be backed by all means. Regarding sides, I do like them both in this tournament and wouldn't go against any of them. Even if I rate Colombia as favorites, I think Peru will have a chance to create an upset and the odds are close to fair I say. So my option is, the over.

One advantage for Aalesunds could be that they're in the middle of their domestic season and from the fitness point of view that's an advantage. Nevertheless, I'm interested to back the home side. Ferencvaros have ended up on third position last season and have been one of the best teams in Hungary. This season, they've got big plans regarding the title and brought some good players meant to make them stronger. Generally speaking, the home advantage counts a lot in this competition, especially during the qualifiers, and Aalesunds might collapse against an enthusiastic home crowd that will seek the victory. Hungarian team is 100% interested to progress into the next round and there's no other option but winning at home and then pulling off a decent result on the road. -0.25 close to -0.5 is only a marginal advantage while I think the hosts will have far more chances than this line suggests.

Normally, I would back Chile here. They have a wonderful squad and an amazing team chemistry, and not many teams can match them as it looks right now. They've clearly dominated Mexico in the opening match and fully deserved that win, and then created enough scoring opportunities and played well enough to deserve more than a draw against Uruguay. Peru, on the other hand, seem very sharp up front. And that's the reason perhaps why I'm not interested to fade them. They have played exceptionally well against Mexico before playing a tie against Uruguay, and they've looked very dangerous up-front on both occasions. Claiming that they will keep a clean sheet against creative Chile is out of question I suppose, but they can score on the other hand. Both of them have quality players up-front, and they look better in the attacking department than in defence, so I think the over is worth trying at this total.

As far as I am concerned, I think that Bolivia are the worse team in this group. They are still overrated thanks to their surprising draw against high-rated Argentina, but their match against Costa Rica has proved how weak they are, in fact. The match against Argentina was one of those when you know you're not gonna get anything so you just play more relaxed and sometimes, as underdogs, you get lucky enough on the break and you do make a hit. But that doesn't change the fact they didn't really deserve that draw, even if Argentina did not play their best football. As I said, the match against Costa Rica has proved their lack of potential (compared to other teams in this group). They could not get anything up-front and the favorite statute was also a huge disavantage, because they seem to be better on the break, which wasn't possible against a more or less similar side.As for Colombia, hats off, really. They play one of the best football in this tournaments and I don't have any doubts that they will dominate and likely win this clash. It just can't be different after a superb display against Argentina, before getting an easy win against Costa Rica (despite the scoreline, could have won by more goals).

Pick: FC Milsami Result: 1-3 Stake: 7/10 Odds: 3.15

The first leg has ended 2-0 win for Dynamo Tbilisi and while I'm not denying their overall superiority, I don't think they should be favorites in an away clash. Dynamo Tbilisi is a big name in Georgia and has great history in the USSR, but haven't looked so solid in the recent years and Georgian teams usually tend to play much worse on the road. The first leg was quite close, more close than the scoreline suggests. Milsami went there to defend as much as they can and pull off a decent result to give them decent/good chances regarding the second leg. Of course. 0-2 is no an easy score to be turned out, but that doesn't mean they can't get a draw or even win this. Milsami Orhei is a new team in Moldova and thanks to some rich investors, they have managed to catch a spot in the Europa League and actually play decent football. The team chemistry is one of their main advantages while the management is also acting wise. They are good at defending but their best force lies in attack. They have a great middle and some decent strikers who can always deliver. I just can't accept they will be underdogs for today. They used to play with top teams like Sheriff and Dacia on the same foot, and I would rate these stronger than Dynamo are.

Moscow derby. As far as I am concerned, I rate Dinamo much better. They haven't got the best start starting off with two defeats in the first three rounds, including a loss away at Lokomotiv, but then slowly got back to where they deserve to be and climbed up on the first four places. That they have a strong attack I think everybody knows that, but the best part is, their defence has also started doing fine. An example of great defending was their trip at Spartak last round, not allowing the home team a single real chance on goal. As for Lokomotiv, they're just too irregular and also don't have enough class to match Dinamo. Honestly, I was expecting some better performance from their side when they travelled to CSKA last round. It did not happen and it's only their name in Russian football that still makes some victims once in a while. I expekt a home win

Who could stop the best tennis player in the world? If Gilles Muller cannot do it, no one can. He's done it before at ATP Wimbledon back in 2005 and why wouldn't he produce another upset? Basically, he's got all he needs in order to mess things up. First of all, he is extremely solid on hard, and especially grass. He is the winner of Nottingham challenger and has only lost one match this season when it comes to this surface. Of course, he cannot match Rafael Nadal. Rafa is number one and claiming that Muller can beat him on class would be a big lie. But he can certainly make it hard, more hard than these odds suggest. Nadal hasn't lost a set for a while and odds are on his favor, yet something tells me that Muller can do it. He is a big talent and has enough ambition to pull off a little surprise. Nadal can't play 100% all the time. Should he hit an average/bad day, then Muller will take his chances.
